Google and Amazon Search Suggest Domain Finder Tool
As a developer both for businesses and clients and an owner of lots of domains, I know that having the right domain name is very important, adds credibility, and can even be critical with some projects.
As a developer I create lots of tools that can give me an advantage. One of those is a domain finding and generating tool at DomainNameTool.com .
I recently revamped it to add Google Suggest and Amazon Suggest to the domain finding abilities.
What makes this cool is that Google suggest and Amazon suggest (as well as other sites that offer this) return results of the top searches by the general public related to what you entered. By checking the results to see if they are available as a domain name, you can find a domain name that is also a natural search phrase. This is awesome power for niche sites.
So what if you could find a domain name that is also a natural search phrase in google? Well if you were able to give it some credible, related content and get some backlinks, Google would give you top billing in the listings for that search.
See, Google counts the URL as part of the authority and relativeness of the results. If you search for something, sites are generally ranked in some special Google algorhythm that counts ‘Authority’ of the website, relatedness of content, and credibility of others linking to the site.
Having the search term in the URL gives added weight to the result. Having it in the domain, I believe adds more weight and authority because you have committed the domain to the topic, not just mentioned it or wrote about it once.
So if you have a niche and are looking for a powerful domain name to go with it, check out the Google and Amazon search suggest domain finder.
If you are interested in what all the search suggest sites (Google, Yahoo, Amazon, YouTube, and EBay) tell you in regards to your niche, try the search suggester tool as well.
